I’m here today to assist people in voting. I retired from the military after serving 20 years and I’m a Vietnam veteran. I’ve been working with the voter coalition for probably about 10 years.
This day means victory for me to vote. Our forefathers put in work for this and died. And we served our country and a lot of Vietnam veterans died for this purpose. And I think right now our young adults and millennials take it lightly because they hadn’t gone through what we’ve gone through. But if this last incident with the pandemic, if this hasn’t showed them a different perspective on life and how important it is for us to do this, I think they’ve missed the mark.
