“I think too many Americans believe that democracy should be put on autopilot. And my thing is no, you’ve got to engage with it. And especially when you see something moving in the wrong direction. And I think that Trump has really, I knew for me, he is really broad. I mean, I haven’t volunteered before when Trump came into office, my whole framework changed. I saw him or I see him as a threat to our democracy. So my bottom line is citizens should get involved with  politics. It’s good for our democracy. It helps us out. It helps our democracy
