I’m a Vietnam veteran. I was in Vietnam in 1966 and 67. I came home, went to work for the postal service, and here I am today retired.

[My first time voting] was in 1965 when the voting rights act was implemented by president Johnson.  It’s sad that we, as a people, we had to be subjected to all of that and now we’re still being subjected to it. So I tell these young people to vote, because that is your privilege.
