James L. Thomas III, 20
First time voter
Fayetteville, NC
I had to vote in person because my parents, my dad’s like 60, my mom’s 55. And during that time they were fighting for their rights to vote and then just doing that it felt good.
It felt like I could relate a little bit to like what they’re going through. It was my first year of voting. As serious as it is as important this election is just being able to play my part. It really meant a lot to me.
