I had a couple of strong feelings about voting. First of all, I was really, really excited to be able to participate in something so historical, especially at this time right now in our nation. I kind of felt privileged, some of my ancestors were not able to have this right or this privilege. So it kind of gave me some butterflies and I’m happy that I’m able to participate today. Considering COVID right now, the state of our finances, our country, our president, and how he views minorities in general, I just don’t think that our current president would be the best fit for the future of minorities across the nation. So that kind of is something that really made me feel like in order to protect future generations I had to participate today.
